Summary of Responsibilities: The Corporate Account Director role is critical in optimizing access, as well as creating and implementing a strategic account plan. The ideal candidate must have a strong relationships and current experience navigating the CVS Health organization. This position reports to the Director, National Accounts.
Essential Functions: •Develop sustainable and deep relationships with multiple touchpoints at CVS Health/Silverscript.
•Spearhead the organizational relationships between CVS Health/Silverscript and Sunovion to enhance and product access.
•Ability to clearly outline a strategic account plan that outlines potential partnerships, access opportunities and challenges. Develop the business need and negotiate profitable contracts when and if the opportunity warrants. Set expectations and timelines for key decision points based on customer’s processes.
•Demonstrated deep managed markets business acumen and learning agility. Proactively build on market insights and expertise to continuously identify opportunities and develop comprehensive plans to enhance customer and Sunovion’s objectives.
•Execute on managed markets initiatives and account strategic plan to a high level of achievement.
•Understand and communicate Sunovion’s product value propositions to key customers with an emphasis on improved patient outcomes, quality and product values.
•Understand and communicate customer insights to Sunovion personnel to improve access and sales.
•Develop and track account plans built on product value, rather than price.
•Demonstrate leadership and collaboration with aligned stakeholders.
•Participates/leads cross functional teams that align customer and organizational goals.
•Over time, the successful candidate would be seen as a Trusted Advisor for all matters relating to CVS Caremark & Silverscript.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors
Experience Required: 7 - 10 Years
Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): •BA required (MBA or Pharm D preferred).
•10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
•5 years experience as an account director preferred.
•Previous experience managing customer: CVS Health Commercial and Silverscript.
•Advanced knowledge of payer markets, healthcare reform and medicaid landscape.
•Strong analytical skills.
•Strong clinical acumen.
•Strong written and verbal skills.
•Ability to influence without authority.
•Ability to influence cross-functionally.
•Well-developed negotiating skills.
•Highly proficient with Excel, PPT, and Word.
Other Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Specialized Training, Physical or Mental Abilities Required): •65% travel weekly.
•Work hours may include scheduled meetings outside of normal work hours.
