The IT R&D Principle Business Systems Analyst will perform a variety of project management and technical tasks. They will be responsible for the support of multiple Research and Development business systems. This Business Relationship Manager will represent the IT department and bring value-added service to R&D business units. He/she will provide business analysis, project administration, project management, systems support and testing. The Analyst will interface with vendors and suppliers, and assist with software/services licensing as required. Additionally, the Principal Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting IT initiatives including delivery of technology across Sunovion. This position requires good communications, planning and technical skills, working directly with business leaders, managers and system users. The Business Systems Analyst will develop knowledge of the industry and R&D business processes.

Essential Functions: •Manage the delivery and support of small to mid-size applications in Research and Development.

•Manage projects with GxP regulatory requirements.

•Interface with external vendors and manage the delivery of service and support.

•Track and resolve business application issues.

•Collaborates with all functions of IT to maintain systems, data security and compliance requirements.

•Manage activities for software upgrades, implementations and integration efforts.

•Build and maintain relationships with business partners and IT colleagues.

•Project management (Schedule, Resources, Budget, Deliverables)

•Provide effective communications orally and in written form.

•Manage SLA’s

•Change Management

•Strict adherence to Compliance and Regulatory requirements

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors

Experience Required: 5 - 7 Years

Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): •Bachelor’s degree with a scientific, technical or business concentration preferred.

•Five years of IT/R&D experience supporting, leading and managing applications and support activities.

•Demonstrated experience of following an SDLC

•Technical writing

•Experience with process/technology improvements activities (includes: process documentation, optimization, etc)

•Business Process Management documentation (Workflows)

•Experience in meeting project success, working with milestones and deadlines, communicating effectively both orally and in writing; building and maintaining effective working relationships with peers and supervisors; exercising sound judgement in evaluating situations; ability to follow or give verbal or written instructions as applicable.

•Working knowledge of 21CFRPart11, validation processes and GAMP

Other Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Specialized Training, Physical or Mental Abilities Required): PMP certification preferred.
