Summary of Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supporting in the development and execution of patient and caregiver focused marketing tactics and related communications within the COPD portfolio area. This position reports to the Associate Director, Marketing.
Essential Functions: •Assist with the planning, development and execution of patient/caregiver materials including collaboration with and management of external promotional agency.
•Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendor partners while leading the review of materials through the internal review committee process (PMRC).
•Brand Partner to (CS3, Patient Services, Sales Training and Operations, PMRC) for patient and caregiver related resources and assets.
•Utilizes strong communication skills to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
•Responsible for the management of multiple Agency Partners including management of associated budgets, forecast and accruals.
•Partners with the field sales force to understand their resource gaps and opportunities through building strong relationships and participating in field rides with both the retail and institutional teams.
•Work with commercial analytics to uncover and interpret market data and customer insights.
•Manages vendor contracts (Purchasing Requisitions, invoices, and approvals) processing.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors
Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years
Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): •Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree (MBA, or equivalent experience preferred).
•3+ years of pharmaceutical/device marketing experience.
•2+ years of marketing strategy experience (e.g. marketing, market research, new products planning) preferred.
•2+ years of pharmaceutical/device sales or other external customer facing experience preferred
Digital marketing experience desired.
•Marketing experience in the Respiratory/COPD Therapeutic area highly preferred.
Other Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Specialized Training, Physical or Mental Abilities Required): •Understanding of pharmaceutical product planning and execution including new product launches, product marketing and sales strongly desired.
•Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company.
•Ability to work with and manage outside advertising agencies.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to understand, analyze, and drive appropriate market research to inform strategic decision-making.
•Budget management experience a plus.
•Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
