Job Description:

• Data and information are strategic assets that help to maximize the value of our clinical development programs by informing decision-making, ensuring optimal allocation of resources (both funding and people) and enabling collaboration. Working with R&D teams, the Sr. Director, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) System is responsible for maintaining the Planisware PPM software application and data which plays a central role in this process. The Sr. Director must be able to influence how the organization manages work and resources by having a thorough understanding of the processes and methodologies supporting the organization’s management practices. The Sr. Director is required to maintain and manage the software, administer resource and user changes, coordinate database maintenance, support the integration of data, and generate routine and ad hoc reports. This level of effort will vary in relation to how the PPM application is being utilized at any given time. Collateral duties such as developing and maintaining reports or other project management office duties will increase the scope of the role.

Essential Functions: •Managing the Process Owner Group – cross functional, cross-regional group staffed to improve and maintain Navigate

Managing the POG responsibilities

oData integrity/stewardship

oProcess improvement

oStandards and harmonization

oSystem maintenance activities

oOngoing training

oSystem enhancement activities – reports, features, upgrades

•Participating in DSP/SUN portfolio planning activities such as PPR, forecasting, annual budgeting, mid-term planning

•Developing the PM planning and system administration capability at Sunovion

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors

Experience Required: 7 - 10 Years

Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): MBA preferred

Min 8 to 12 years in Finance/Strategic Planning

Must have minimum of 3 years PPM Software implementation experience;

Other Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Specialized Training, Physical or Mental Abilities Required): • Past experience leading the implementation of or managing an enterprise-wide Portfolio Planning process and system

• Past experience with cross-functional and/or cross-regional process design, process improvement, and/or process optimization initiatives

• Ability to interface with senior management, governance, software vendors and user groups

•Deep understanding of the drug development business and nuances

•Working Knowledge of Project Management Principles
